The Abyss – The Day I Went Home Early

The Abyss
And if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. Or is that just the blurry guy on the left? I can’t tell.

So today the power got knocked out and TBAW reporters, not being the type to skip first period (even though it did “kinda suck”), had no choice but to be on the scene.  In what can only be heralded as man’s will to nothing overcoming any sense of academic integrity/curiosity, students rose from their seats and cheered as school was cancelled.

The fire was caused by a power transformer that burst alight, and electricity was apparently restored to the school far sooner than the administration had originally expected. All of this is shaping up so that we will have less school in the next few weeks than ever before. Sickness will no doubt surge on WAC (it is, after all, the zenith of the flu season) and long weekends will reign victorious. It may not be the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, but Spring term is in full swing, baby.

That’s right, I just called you baby.TBAW gets intimate with loyal readers like you. Come back next week.
