As you surely know, this past weekend marked the triumphant return of A-DAY to the college.
After 2 years without the event, it was beautiful to see the community come together and celebrate what is one of the most impactful traditions at the college.
The day began with the ceremonial parade down Avenue Road, which was a great chance for the entire community to come together. The plethora of friends, family, and students made this year’s parade a resounding success.
But if you weren’t up at 8:30 for the parade, there was certainly not a lack of activities for you to participate in. The dunk tank, bouncy castles, snack bar, food trucks, various booths, and (of course) the sports games, are but a few of the attractions and events that were enjoyed. Their attractions, along with the musical performances throughout the day, including the performance of our Sr. Jazz band, led to one of the most successful and enjoyable A-Days in recent times.
Now, as a quick recap, let’s recall a few of this weekend’s (many) successes.
Varsity Volleyball with a thundering 3-0 sweep against rivals St. Mikes
Varsity Soccer with a 3-0 victory over SAC’s Varsity Squad on the Oval.
And, of course, Varsity Football’s 13-11 victory over St. Mikes in a long awaited rematch for the times.
