An Interview With Adam Rothman

Nicolas Papoutsidis

At last Monday’s assembly, Sevion introduced Adam Rothman as our Head Steward for the 2017-2018 year. With my journalistic instincts gnawing at me (and pressure from Mr. Dick to write something for TBAW), I decided to experience companionship on a Friday night ask Adam some pressing questions that may exist among the student body. Enjoy.

What teacher has had the most profound impact on you and why?

“That’s very hard to answer- so many come to mind. Though I’ve never had him as a teacher, Mr. Brown is an incredibly inspiring, dedicated and selfless coach and his speech earlier this year at assembly was one of the most powerful and important speeches I’ve ever heard.”

If you could only have one Aramark dish for the rest of your life, which would it be?

“The beef stir-fry noodles, just the noodles.”

What game/app on your laptop distracts you most during class?

“Facebook”

If you could change one aspect of the uniform, what would it be?

“Our shoe game could be stronger.”

What is your first order of business as Head Steward?

“At first, I want to learn as much as I can: the breadth of my responsibilities, what I can and cannot do, and the desires of the student body. From there, I will assess how best I can use my time in this office to do some meaningful things.”
