First and foremost, they raised $100 000 for the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital thanks to a triple match from the Slaight Family Foundation. Lincoln Dugas-Nishisato commented, “Founders Cup was created to demonstrate how profound of an impact students can have on society. I am extraordinarily proud of how well we did that!”
Every COSSOT school majorly contributed to this success: “We basically never get 8 schools all joining one cause,” one student mentioned. Additionally, the 25 UCC student executives, 25 executives from other COSSOT schools, and 50 volunteers created over 1000 service hours. Combined with the more than 250 000 views on Instagram in February alone, this really shows their impact on our community.
