Founder’s Cup is back this year on February 27th! Last year, the inaugural Founder’s Cup had an electric atmosphere and raised a ton of money for the Gilda’s Club Charity. This year, with new wristband levels, a pizza eating contest, card writing, family feud, and a dodgeball tournament, it is bound to be a blast. Each wristband colour corresponds to a level of donation, which unlocks access to free food, raffle prizes, exclusive seating, song requests, shoutouts, and signed memorabilia. Check-in will start at 4:00pm, followed by a continuous stream of events.
This year, Founder’s Cup has been expanded to include Crescent, RSGC, St. Mikes, Havergal, Branksome Hall, and St. Clements, setting up an epic volleyball tournament bracket. Schools will be paired together, forming 4 superteams in total: UCC and BSS, Crescent and Havergal, RSGC and Branksome, and St. Mikes and St. Clements. Additionally, all donations will go to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, and will be triple matched by the Slaight Family Foundation and the Holland Bloorview Board of Directors! It will transform care for children through groundbreaking research, important advocacy, and life changing medical care. So far, over $50,000 of the $100,000 goal has already been raised!
