The Student Centre, normally filled with the chatter of students about their summatives, sports or games became an exposition filled with boisterous and engaging exchanges. For an entire year, students had to plan, create and present their project as early as the end of the previous school year. During the summer, many had to conduct their research and some had already made their prototypes. Throughout autumn and winter, they had been working non-stop to create a product that would benefit them in their learning or development journey.

This past Thursday, February 6th, marked an important date for the school community. This afternoon, students were able to see the Personal Projects that the students of Year 10 at UCC made all in the Student Center. The hard work that they have maintained throughout the past calendar paid off in one event.

Y10s filled the space, showcasing their creativity, bringing together the community. The room was packed with students of all ages, parents, faculty and staff. The diversity of the projects brought together a wide spectrum of sports, culinary, art and so much more. Students took the opportunity of displaying their projects to receive feedback from their supervisors and the general public. This is the final stretch of the MYP Personal Project, then students would take the information they gathered on this day to write their final reports, which is due just a few weeks from now
