Friday, April 26th, marked the highly anticipated Varsity Day at UCC, where our talented athletes showcased their prowess in a series of intense matchups against formidable opponents. The day commenced at 1:30 pm with a fierce lacrosse clash against Malvern Collegiate, while our baseball team battled it out with St. Michael’s College School.
As the afternoon progressed, the action intensified with a badminton showdown against St. Michael’s at 3:00 pm. Simultaneously, our tennis team engaged in a hard-fought contest with their St. Michael’s counterparts at 3:30 pm, while the rugby squad took on the formidable Trinity College in a physical encounter.
The event was a resounding success, drawing an impressive turnout of enthusiastic supporters who cheered on our home teams with unwavering spirit. Adding to the excitement, the cricket team showcased their skills in an intrasquad match, providing an entertaining spectacle for all in attendance.
